Friendly Friday

In 2016 we designed the Friendly Friday Shadowing Program to give children the opportunity to experience our school first hand and all the wonderful things we have to offer. As a shadow visitor your child will spend the day with a current OLA student, attend classes, be our guest at lunch and attend any school-wide events taking place on the day of your visit. Typically, we schedule a shadow day on a Friday, but our doors are always open.

Our Lady of the Angels Catholic School, established in 1998 with the consolidation of Saint Peter and Holy Trinity Schools, serves Columbia and surrounding communities. We exist to preserve the tradition of Catholic Christian education by developing the “whole child” spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially, and physically. As a united community, we strengthen the covenant between home and school by proclaiming the Gospel message in a constantly changing world.

Parents must complete the Friendly Friday Visitor Release form prior to their shadow day.
Students are to arrive in the school office by 7:45am. Our day begins at 8:00 am. Your child will be dismissed at 2:45 pm unless prior arrangements are made. A parent or guardian must be present to sign the child in and out.
Students must follow a modified version of our dress code.
Boys are to wear a pair of khaki or dark pants, dark/light colored collared polo shirt. Closed toed shoes.
Girls are to wear a pair of khaki or dark pants/skirt, dark/light colored collared polo shirt. Closed toed shoes.
