Parents and Guardians

Interested in your child attending Our Lady of the Angels Catholic School, please call the Admissions Office at 717.449.5442. Students will be considered for admissions to OLA after meeting with the Admissions Director.

Please complete the application form below for each child you want to register to attend Our Lady of the Angels.   Families registered in Holy Trinity and St. Peter’s parishes will receive a scholarship of $150 per student in K3 through eighth grade. In order for us to hold a place for your child/ren the following must be in place:

  • A completed application packet includes
    • Application Form
    • Registration Fee $100per child
    • Home Language Survey
    • Parish Verification Form – along with Baptismal Certificate
    • Immunization Records/Dental Form
    • Birth Certificate
    • IEP

(Students currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 8th grade)

  • Students who are transferring from another school must contact the admissions office before registration, to set up a Friendly Friday Shadow Day.
  • The following must be submitted before shadow day may occur
    • Emergency Form
    • Current Report Card with attendance
    • Current PSSA scores
    • Disciplinary reports
    • IEP or Educational Plan if applicable
    • Immunization Records

2020-2021 Tuition Rates

Tuition is paid through FACTS Tuition Management Program. Tuition payments are made July 1 – April 30th. Families have the option to schedule monthly, semi-annually or scheduled full payment. A registration fee of $100 for each student is to be paid with your completed application form.

PRE-K PROGRAMS  $3000

Kindergarten through Grade 8

1 CHILD – $3500

2 CHILDREN – $5735

3 CHILDREN OR MORE –  $7485

THOSE WITH GENUINE FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES PLEASE CONSULT WITH THEIR PASTOR. FINANCIAL PROBLEMS WILL NEVER BE AN ACCEPTED REASON WHY OUR PARISHIONERS’ CHILDREN ARE NOT IN OUR SCHOOL.

 

 

 

FACTS Tuition Account

All families will need to sign up for a FACTS tuition account to pay tuition, lunch, Angel Care and apply for the Neumann Scholarship. The largest source of financial assistance for our parents is the Neumann Scholarship, which is funded by Pennsylvania’s Education Income Tax Credit (EITC). The scholarship application link is the same as the tuition accounts. The deadline for submitting the Neumann Scholarship application is March 1st of every year.

Tuition Assistance

Tuition Assistance will not be considered until registration to Our Lady of the Angels School is completed in full and all materials and registration fees have been received.

Neumann Scholarship Information

The Diocese of Harrisburg, in response to the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Law (EITC), created the Neumann Scholarship Foundation. The ElTC progam provides tax credits to businesses that contribute to qualified scholarship organizations. The Neumann Scholarship Foundation has been approved by the State of Pennsylvania as a qualified scholarship organization. All scholarships offered by the Foundation are provided in accordance with the laws governing this program.

School Support Scholarship

The School Support Scholarship is financed with monies earned through the sale of Gift Cards, OLA Scrip Program. Gift Cards for stores, restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations may be purchased at the school office or parish office. Refer A Friend Tuition Credit

Each year, your family can receive a $200 tuition credit for referring one new family to Our Lady of the Angels. To qualify, referrals must be acknowledged during the application process and referenced on your registration form. All students must meet standard enrollment criteria. The new student(s) must remain enrolled for on full marking period (i.e., trimester). If a referred student begins at the start of the school year, a credit will be applied to the referral family in the second trimester. If a referred student starts any time between the start of the school year and the end of December, the credit will be applied to the referral family in the third trimester. Only one credit will be given per family per school year. The new family’s oldest child must be in first grade or higher. Referral credits will apply to the K3, K4 or K5 programs if a student(s) enroll in first grade. The principal will grant the final approval for all referral credits.
